That’s just disgusting! Just because I’m a scientist doesn’t mean that I’m not a normal person who doesn’t want to be sick.

But why would I do something like that????

I’m trying to conjure up a situation where I would have to make this choice. Luckily for me, I can’t.

You know, fancy you should ask that. Turns out toilet bowls are pretty clean places, what with the constant turnover of water, and the scrubbing brush, and the chlorine added into the water supply. Feet are fairly gross if you don’t keep them dry and clean – I mean – they’re not exactly my first choice for the place to spread jam, but the real winner of grossness is our mouths! Our mouths have so many disgusting types of bacteria in them, that’s why human bites that break the skin are at a real risk of infection! So – my question is – would a toilet bowl prefer to be touched by a foot or a mouth?
