I don’t know. But, I know someone who WOULD know – so – I’ll get back to you with his answer next week. 🙂

I’d be too scared to try!

Yes! Apparently you can. Some VERY brave (or very stupid) people found that you can lull a shark almost into a trance by tickling the space between the tip of its nose and its teeth. This is a very sensitive area for sharks as it contains a lot of pits and glands used for various senses related to hunting its prey. I’ve no idea why it makes them go so very silly over it though.

Personally, I think you’d have to be pretty sure it was going to work for you to put your hands that close to a Sharks mouth…

To be honest I don’t know. I am not even sure if hypnosis has any real scientific value, i.e. if it is real or just imagination? If it is real you should be able to hypnotise any animal that has a brain right? If not than no.

I’ve seen a documentary where sharks were put into a trance-like state as Sean says, which I suppose is similar to hypnotizing it. Again, I wouldn’t be keen to try it, and I’m pretty sure you couldn’t then talk it in to thinking that it’s a chicken…
