      I’m fairly confident that it won’t, but then again science can never claim to be certain of anything. We live in an exciting world.

      I’m pretty sure that it won’t! As far as I’m aware, this myth stems from the fact that the Mayan calendar ends in 2012, when they believed the world would be recreated in some way.

      I agree with Claire as the only thing Science can be certain of is uncertainty but I reckon you’re pretty safe to plan things for 2013…
