      I love talking with people about science and the money would let me talk to even MORE people.

      I was curious about the questions students would ask and I love talking about my research to non-scientists, I would spend some of the money to talk about my stuff some more 🙂

      I wanted to help people get enthusiastic about science – I’d use the money to either make demonstrations, or perhaps a video, about oceanography.

      I find answering questions really good fun, it makes me think about my work in ways that hadn’t occurred to me before. If I win I will spend the money on improving the materials I have to take into schools, including building a fun, messy game about investigating the creatures that live in mud (with some useful maths attached, ugh!).

      Science Is cool, talking to people about it is cooler and I’d use the money to talk to more people about it!
