A marine conservationist is a person who wants to conserve (protect) the marine environment. I’m a huge supporter of marine conservation, because I think that the oceans are SUPER important to how we live and we what enjoy as humans.

      Hey Wheatley,

Marine Conservationists are, like Glo says, someone who wants to protect the Marine Environment. This can take many forms from working with people to raise awareness of the problems faced by the oceans of the world today and what they can do to help solve them, to talking to MP’s and other important decision makers to make them realise how they can help too. Does that answer your question? Let me know if there’s anything else that you want to know about Marine Conservation!

Here is a defintion of a marine conservationist: A marine conservationist, is a person who works towards the protection and preservation of ecosystems in oceans and seas. They do this by trying to limit human-caused damage to marine ecosystems, and restore damaged marine ecosystems. Marine conservationists also focuse on preserving vulnerable marine species.
