• Question: What is the best thing about the sea?

      I guess that, as a scientist, I’d have to say that the best thing about the sea is that so much about it is unknown, which gives us lots of chances to discover new things!

      Exactly what Dave said. Parts of it are a huge undiscovered frontier. Did you know that we know more about the surface of the moon than the bottom of the Ocean?

      Watching waves for hours, the smell and the wide open spaces. On the subject of discoveries, some people say that we know more about thesurface of the moon than about the ocean floor.

      Bubbles! (Sorry – had a Nemo flashback.) When I think about the sea – I just get very calm and very happy. I love sitting on a boat and feeling the waves rocking me – the smell and even taste (on a windy day) of the salt in the air. Heaven! I especially love when it glows-in-the-dark!
