      The most poisounous fish is this guy: The stonefish [myimage1] Well hidden and ugly as sin, if you step on this guy, he forces the spines on his back into your foot that are loaded with a poison so painful that people stung by it scream to have their foot chopped off rather than bear the pain…

      Then there’s the Blue Ringed Octopus but I think Glo can tell you a little more about that guy…

      Depends. Blue-ringed octopus have what is considered one of the most potent neurotoxins on the planet; however, even deadlier is the toxin is produced by a little single-celled organism called Gambierdiscus toxicus. It’s a phytoplankton (chlorophyll containing plankton) that secretes maitotoxin. Just check out the structure of this toxin: It’s like a super-deadly caterpillar!
