Because it would make me feel good! No, seriously, vote for me so that I can go on answering your questions on the website and in live chats. If I win the money I will use it to improve the materials I take into schools, build a fun (messy) marine science activity for schools, and learn how to edit videos so that I can keep everyone up to date with my field work antics.

Yes I agree with Clare, it would make me feel good too. I would think “they liked the answers I gave and they got something out of this” It also means that I can stay in the game for lobger and answer more questions/do more chats 🙂

Hi Zoe, As the others have said, I’m really enjoying talking to you all, and would like to stick around for as long as possible! I’m pretty sure that I could build some cool equipment to demonstrate oceanography in schools with the prize, though I’m sure all of the other guys have equally good ideas!

It’s winter here in Australia. It’s cold and dreary and the sun only comes up for about two minutes a day (ok – maybe a little longer – but it doesn’t feel that way). Voting for me will let me stay, at least virtually, in someplace where it’s summer. Yeah! Plus, answering these questions is just too fun! In terms of the money – I’m too far away to come to your local school this year. I’m not going to lie – 500 pounds won’t cover that flight. But – think of this – when it’s winter in the UK – and you’re cold and dreary and the sun isn’t shining – I will put up videos of beautiful, sunny, warm places for you to watch and daydream about. So – Vote for Glo!

Because I’m really enjoying it and want to do it for as long as possible. The money will go on making radio programmes and videos to show around SW madagascar and if I get to make them then I’ll not only show you the videos that we make but I’ll also film the villages that they get shown in and put them up on youtube for all to see!
